Monday – Friday: 7.00-17.00
Saturday: 7.00 – 14.00
Sunday & Bank holidays: 8.00 -12.00

Following the demise of the long-established village shop in 2019, the community worked with Jig & Ash Patel to establish a new village shop in the car park of the Village Hall.

Since its opening in August 2021, the shop has grown and now provides a full-time Post-Office facility; daily & weekly newspapers to complement the door-to-door delivery; the National Lottery and a hot coffee machine.

The shop has become a vital asset for the community with many of our older residents use it as their primary grocery shopping experience; those online traders in the village who need packaging and parcel resources are never disappointed; the “white van man” brigade can always find some lunch to enjoy; and the Mum’s can also find an end-of-school treat for their children.

We are proud of the Patel family for the investment they make in our village shop, and it is up to everyone to support them so that we maintain this valuable service.
